Creating a healthy culture that reduces substance misuse in our communities is a complex task. In order to effect change, the Mt. Ascutney Prevention Partnership (MAPP) focuses on four key strategies in our work with community partners:

We promote early childhood development initiatives that give young brains the space they need to grow

We support positive youth development to give young people the encouragement to become healthy, productive members of their communities

We work to help prevent misuse of substances including marijuana/cannabis (CBD), alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, and prescription drugs

And we work with municipalities, businesses, non-profits and others to design effective policies to realize their goals for healthier communities
